My name is David Jeffers. For most of my adult life, I was single, and I was always frustrated in the supermarket and at home with my cookbooks, because the serving sizes were sometimes for two, nearly always for four or more, and very seldom, if ever, for one. I never did care much for leftovers, or for taking the time to organize plastic containers by date in the freezer, so I got married. All kidding aside, because my amazing wife and I often use different diets, my need and desire for single-serve cookbooks hasn’t really diminished. So I took it upon myself to create a blog and recipes that serve the single-eater, whether they live by themselves or not. Along the way, I’ll be talking about cool things like weight loss, and avoiding things like exercise and organizing plastic containers by date in the freezer.

When I’m not eating, I spend a lot of time with my wife and daughter, and work feverishly on fictional, novel-length scary stories! Mwa-ha-haaa…

Hope you enjoy!
